Art for Others

Fancy a change from all those academic subjects? – feel the need to express your creative talents or simply just enjoy art ?

We could be just the thing you’re looking for…..

Come and share your artistic talents with others for the benefit of the school and local community.

This year we are broadening our horizons and developing interpersonal skills through working with primary schools, working with younger year’s pupils and helping others achieve through art.

No specific level of skill needed just a real desire to lighten up someone else’s life with your artistic ideas.

This is an opportunity to work on collaborative art projects that could lead to large-scale murals, paintings or sculptures. This is your chance to be really creative, which is becoming an increasingly desirable trait with employers and universities.

We want to create artwork to share with the community and inspire other people.

Term one will be spent creating materials to share and display in November at a collaborative art/music/drama event presented at Huntington for local primary schools. In term two a group of year 5/6 pupils will be joining us on Wednesday afternoons for some artistic creativity together. In both terms our work will be based around a pre-chosen theme.

You will be required to work professionally, completing thorough research and creating designs to meet your brief. More importantly, you will need to be creative and be willing to get messy!
