Community Sports Leadership Awards
CSLA - Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership
This option is for anybody who is interested in sports leadership, especially those wanting to work with children. The course aims to prepare responsible, motivated and confident young people who can lead safe, purposeful and enjoyable sport/activity sessions under indirect supervision. The CSLA course is not only a fun and practical experience but it also leads to a formal qualification and students are continually assessed from day one.
In addition to attendance on the course, learners must complete 10 hours logged demonstration of leadership within the community.
Full attendance at all elements of the course is required for the qualification to be awarded.
Committed students will find this a valuable course if they wish to go into coaching, teaching, youth work or the leisure industry.
