HERE COME THE GIRLS!
This is an activity that will keep you fit as well as learning new football skills and techniques. You will learn how to play football as an individual, performing tricks, and skills to get past an opponent and learn how to play as part of a team, the responsibilities of a centre midfield player for instance and how that player fits into the team shape. But that’s not all.
In the Technical Corner you will learn to:
• Dribble
• Pass and receive
• Run with the ball
• Attacking Play
• Defending Play
In the Psychological Corner you will learn to:
• Decide whether to pass or dribble the ball
• Work out what team shape to play
• Have the confidence to make decisions about team tactics
In the Physical Corner you will learn to:
• Change direction quickly
• Shoot at goal with power and accuracy
• Change speed
• Challenge your opponent
In the Social Corner you will learn to:
• Communicate with your team mates to share good football information
• Work as part of a team to challenge yourself
You will learn how to play the game of football through playing small sided and conditioned games, working on different aspects of the game in more detail. You will learn the rules and how to officiate a game of football. Ultimately, this PDP session will stand you in good stead to be able to organise your own lunchtime female football tournament at Huntington School.
So what are you waiting for, be part of the fastest growing female sport in the UK.
COME AND HAVE A GO IF YOU THINK YOU’RE HARD ENOUGH!
