School Introduction Programme

Huntington School is registered on the School Introduction programme which is run through the Training and Development Agency (TDA). The programme is specifically designed for potential teachers of the following;

• Design and Technology
• Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
• Modern foreign Languages
• Music
• Religious Studies
• Science (in particular Physics and Chemistry)

The School Introduction Programme provides an opportunity for participants to spend up to 10 days in a school, subject to a conditional offer from an higher education institution (HEI) ITT provider. Huntington School has a direct link to the University of York for this programme although all other conditional offers are accepted.
