NQT Programme
We have devised a coherent NQT programme to ensure that our Newly Qualified Teachers receive regular support and feedback in their initial career development. There are 5 NQTs at Huntington School in the current academic year 2008-9. Ian Price is the school mentor and each NQT has a departmental mentor.
NQT Mentors 2008-09
• Geography - Louise Palin
• Music - Liz Dunbar
• English - Alex Quigley
• Drama - Bev Veasey
• History - John Titmas
NQT Resources
The links below will provide downloadable resources which are used to support our NQT training programme. In addition, all NQTs are invited to the trainee teacher (ITT) sessions on Tuesdays. A fully detailed programme of ITT training and events can be found in the ITT section of the website.
