Huntington School ITT Programme
Huntington School is a centre for high quality teacher training. In each academic year we take approximately 20 students who are completing their Initial Teacher Training. We are looking to expand our capacity to train students by taking paired placements in both the autumn and spring / summer placements.
The ITT training programme has been constructed by Rachel Garbett and these can be accessed by the links below. Departments not involved in hosting ITT students play an active role in the programme through providing lesson observations and delivering presentations and workshops.
Three of our mentors have been involved in action research which has evaluated the impact of ITT on pupil attitudes and progress. More information on this research can be found on the action research section of the website.
