A-LEVEL RESULTS 2021

“This cohort of students has been the most affected by the pandemic. They have shown huge resilience. Many of them have secured the university places and the jobs they wanted. We are delighted for them as they move on to the next phase of their lives. They are very special young people in so many ways.” – Chris Hardwell, Director of Sixth Form:

“It was such a relief to see our students gain the grades they deserved. They worked so hard for them, despite the challenges of the pandemic. Our rigorous assessment processes ensured that their grades represent a true picture of their capabilities. There is a life beyond Covid-19 and our young people could not be better prepared to make the very best of the opportunities ahead of them.” – John Tomsett, Headteacher.

Comments from Chris Hardwell, Director of Sixth Form

“These outstanding results are a testament to the two years of dedication and hard work of our students.  It was great to see so many smiling faces as they picked up their results.”

“At a time when young people are under intense scrutiny and pressure our students are achieving at an exceptional level.  This is down to the hard work of our students, the high standard of teaching and the excellent relationships between staff and students.”
