19th November 2027: Open Evening

We are delighted to invite anyone interested in applying to Huntington Sixth Form to attend our Open Evening. Talk to Sixth Form Leaders, subject teachers, Heads of Department and most importantly current students about what it is like to study as part of the Huntington Sixth Form community.

Please register here to book a place on one of the three short presentations that run across the evening.

Book your place at Open Evening here!

14th January 2027: Main Taster Day
Join current Huntington Year 11s and students from other schools as they explore taster sessions in four subjects and life in the Sixth Form.

Booking for this is separate to the main application, to allow students to genuinely get a taste of subjects they are thinking about but not ready to apply for. Once you are sure about your subjects, please complete the main application form when it becomes available.

12th January: Taster Morning
For students from other schools unable to make Taster Day. Join two real Sixth Form lessons! The booking process will open shortly, with a link available here.

29th January: Initial deadline for applications
Please ensure your application form is completed by the end of January.

The application form will go live here soon.

Please note: later applications will be accepted, however to have your choices factored into how many classes we run and how we organise the timetable and option blocks, you will need to apply by the end of January deadline.

Early March: We will contact you at this point if our option blocks cannot accommodate your subject choices. Otherwise, you can assume your subject choices are possible.

1st July: applicants will be invited to a further taster day to prepare them for Sixth Form life and confirm their subject choices. More details about this will be sent to applicants in the summer.

19th August: Registration Day
After you have your GCSE results, you can come to the Sixth Form Common Room to confirm your course place and complete a fuller registration form with all the details we need.

September: join our community and start your courses!
