Post results services

Any questions or enquiries regarding post results services should be sent to: exams@huntington-ed.org.uk

Post results services can only be requested through school; candidates can not contact exam boards directly to access these services.

Access to scripts

Access to scripts means we can request a digital copy of the marked script and see where marks were applied.

Your teacher can look at the marked script and advise whether a clerical re-check or review of marking would be appropriate.

Any re-check or review must be the candidate’s decision, understanding the risk that marks and grades could be lowered as well as raised.

Clerical re-check

A clerical re-check of a marked paper will make sure that: 

• the exam board marked all the pages.  

• the exam board counted all the marks.  

• the result matches the marks on the paper. 

• takes up to 10 calendar days. 

• your grade can go down as well as up. 

Review of marking &

Priority review of marking (faster service if you have a university place pending)

If you request a review or priority review of marking: 

• it includes a clerical re-check (see above).  

• a second examiner will review the paper again to identify genuine marking errors or unreasonable marking.  

• priority review takes up to 15 calendar days & a review of marking takes up to 20 calendar days. 

• your grade can go down as well as up. 

There is no grade protection for re-checks or review of marking.
This means that students’ marks and subject grades may be lowered, confirmed or raised as a result.
Students’ must consent before we can submit a request.
