MIDDAY SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT
PART-TIME, TERM TIME ONLY
6.25 HOURS PER WEEK, MONDAY TO FRIDAY
RATE OF PAY £13.45 PER HOUR
At Huntington School, we know that creating a happy, safe and positive environment for our students is everyone's responsibility. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our lunchtime team.
This role is for just over hour a day during the school lunchtime period, making it ideal for someone looking for flexible work that fits around family commitments, study, retirement, another job, or simply a desire to work in a school environment. If you have a spare hour in the middle of the day and enjoy working with young people, we would love to hear from you.
As a Midday Supervisory Assistant, you will help supervise students during the lunchtime break, encourage positive behaviour, support students in dining and social areas, and help ensure lunchtime is safe, enjoyable and inclusive for all. You will play an important part in maintaining the calm and welcoming atmosphere that our students enjoy.
We are looking for someone who is approachable, calm, caring and able to communicate confidently with young people. Previous experience in a school is not essential, as full support and training will be provided. What matters most is that you enjoy working with children and want to make a positive difference to their school day.
For an informal discussion, contact Paula Edwards, HR Manager on 01904 752137 or email p.edwards@huntington-ed.org.uk
The school is also committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We require the successful applicant to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
