From September 2025, all students starting in year 12 will be required to have a laptop or Chromebook to use in their lesson and study periods. This may be something students already own, it can be purchased independently, or it can be purchased through our scheme provided by Easy4U. 

All devices must meet the minimum requirements to be suitable for use in lessons and private study.

• The minimum requirements are:  

• Screen: Minimum 13 inch 

• RAM: Minimum 8GB 

• Memory: 256GB SSD 

• Processor: Minimum 8th Gen Intel i3 (or equivalent) 

• Operating system: Windows 11 

• Will hold a minimum of 6 hours charge (it will not need charging during the school day) 

• Has a keyboard plus mouse/trackpad 

Easy4u are providing 3 devices which meet the standards required. These can be purchased outright or rented/bought on an instalment basis. Details of the devices and how to access the webshop can be found by clicking the link below. 

 

 

We will be providing details of recommended devices for students studying particular subjects, closer to the start of the academic year. 

Easy4U will be available on invitation day in July, and Enrolment day in August where you can take a look at the devices and talk to the team further about how the scheme work.
